GMD Computrack suspension seminar, 10th January.

Peter Kates from GMD computrack has offered NESR members a suspension seminar at their location in Bellingham, MA next Saturday, January 10th.

The suspension seminar will discuss all the details of how your bike's suspension works and enable you to get an understanding of how to set your bike up for street or track.

Peter will also spend some time explaining the basics of alignment and bike geometry using the Computrack machine.

Cost to all NESR site members is $50 for the day.

one of the best things I ever did was attend a suspension seminar, took a lot of guess work out of the formula, and I learned what all those big fancy words meant!

Guys there is not much around Bellingham for "Entertainment" But R.I. clubs are not too far!

This is for NESR people only? How did you work that? Also I keep getting asked to go, but I thought it was free not $50. I can go up to Kevin's shop for free and get some of the worst tips I have ever heard about suspension set up, motor work, fast riders, and how his life sucks, how people suck, should I keep going....

I think it's a great idea and I'd definitely go, but I'm going skiing this weekend. Would be interested in a future seminar though if this turns out well. Actually, I'd be most interested in something in the spring where I could bring my bike and get it's suspension set up properly. Wouldn't be at all averse to making some sort of donation to NESR for that, neither

That's what this is for. So you won't hafta have someone else set it up for you. You'll walk away from this knowing full well how to do it yourself...

I'm not going to go, but if you think you are going to listen to someone talk about suspension stuff for a morning and walk away knowing everything you need to know about suspension set up your crazy. Most people will go to one of these and the only thing they will get out of it is "Peter knows how to do suspension work". Why would he even do one of these if you could learn it all in one morning? He would be out of business if it worked like that.

Never for a moment thought I'd walk away "knowing everything to know". I know I WILL walk away with a better understanding of what all the adjustments do and how *I* can better 'dial in' my suspension...

I agree with you on that. But if you don't get faster then a 1:28's you won't have to worry about setting your suspension up.

I'm just fuckin with ya Jay. I bet you will get into the teens no problem next year. Are you going to do some of the open practices again like last year?
