Monday's weather is looking up from what I was reading earlier. Might get on again. Might actually include my better half this time. I guess she missed me yesterday. I didn't "check in" until about 7:30, because my phone's battery died.
6 of 20 riders got one. Bad timing. They had either just passed or were in the process of passing a car and there Mr Leo was, sitting on the side of the road. The rest of the riders were still behind the car and going only about 5-10 over, so the cruiser just went by.
Aside from the two incidents it was a great ride. I was surprised how well the group stayed together considering how big it was.A great ride for me is one where no one goes down and there are no tickets...but, that's just me...Other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?
Glad everyone's OK! And I suppose the State of VT can use the money!

ideally the best ride will be one where no one gets hurt or crashes or gets a ticket, but lets face it no one does the speed limit and its a matter of time before the 5-0 catches you.
Luckily I've been in the right place at the right time and avoided meeting mr. police officer for a while now. Having said that, if I get stopped for something that I did I'm gonna pay the fine. You got to pay to play.
Thanks guys, had a great time doing it, I just tried my best to keep the group together, shit 21 riders at on time is huge to keep in one group.
On the ticket note, glad not all of got one and I tell you I am extremely happy no one got hurt!
Gear saved his ass big time.

Oh man, this sounds like a ride of many stories. Sorry I missed it.

Not a problem. As I said it depends on the weather. Right now its pretty dark over here and I have about 1/2 my lawn to finish. I might just head off to the Outlaw for a bit instead of riding if it doesnt look good. Of course that depends if its open today.
Ill have to head to Bellingham before I ride since my bike is there at the shop. Send me your name and number. If I get out Ill give you a call.
BTW Chuck is lazy! Sleeping until past 9am.
Nice to see you guys The other morning! I will catch up with you on a ride soon!
I hope you had a fun yet uneventfull day. If you take my meaning!
Myself and our group had a great day logging in 350 miles heading out to the western portion of route 2 into NY where there is a sweet stretch of twisties with no traffic, houses, outlets, NOTHING! I wanted to turn around and repeat that section a few more times!
If you go that way be sure to stop for lunch at the "The Man of Kent" Excellent food and service! Just becarefull not to be tempted by the excellent selction of beer they have...

It is still dark here, was just spitting out a little but has since stopped. I would think the outlaw is open today. I've never been in there though. Everytime I drive by it seems to be mostly harley types in there....am I wrong? Also, are there any good twisties close by? I haven't lived in this area very long (moved up here from Middleboro 1 1/2 ago), haven't been out around here too much. Although, off of 1a heading into wrentham from plainville (near the heather hill country club) I found some beautiful roads....nice long sweepers, very hilly and a few good tight turns.

I'd hold off for a few. Radar's showing a small system coming through. Check it out:
NWS radar image loop of Base Reflectivity from Boston, MA
I'd say it'll be a little more clear by 1:00. If I go out, it'll be about then.
How about we check in at noon. If it's looking decent, meet at 1:00pm at the D&D/Shell station on 140 in Foxboro. (the usual place for Kurt & James) The address is 32 Commercial St. It's about 2 miles north of I95.
Let me know.
Youre not wrong about the outlaw. It is the hardly types. They give me shit sometimes until I start my bike up for them. Its all in fun. I know thw owner and most of the people that work and go there. Its rare I ride my bike there because I usually have a few drinks and I dont like to mix the two.
There arent any great roads out here. There is one thats like 2 miles long and its fun but more then 2 or 3 passes and youre pushing your luck especially if youre with me. When you see what Im on youll know why. If its wet it can be really tricky and if youre not careful it could toss you into the woods. There are a couple of other decent roads but since Ive been to the track its just not the same. I do take it a bit slow on the street.
Anyway Im going to get something to eat the the outlaw in a little bit. Ill probably be there around noon time if its open and not crowded (which I doubt). After that if it looks nice and Im still up for it Ill head to Bellingham and pull the bike out of mothball. If you want to come up to the outlaw just look for the little dude with a black patriots hat on. Im all of 5'6.
