Word. We are just in North Conway now. Our gps really screwed us on the way up and rerouted us clear across the state on its own.
I'm out fellas. I was notified picture day is TOMORROW. Fuck me too, it looks like it's going to be phenomenal!
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
Pictures of what?
Unfortunately we have been called in to work today .
Wont be making the ascent.
TIMMYDUCK
Well...
I'll be there at 10
5 of us made it! At the summit now. Little cold, little windy but a stunning day.
It looked like an ideal day for the trip. Unfortunately we spent 3 hours of prime riding time moving shit from one room to another, then back, then rinse & repeat throughout the house & yard. The drone stuff was pretty cool though.
I'm still determined to make the trip up before we disappear from New England!

We waited for the sign to clear
Thanks everyone for meeting up.
Eric how you guys doing on your trip?
Poorly lol. We got absolutely blasted by weather once we got into Canada. We did a day or so of the trans Quebec trail with was basically nice gravel roads that went on for hundreds of miles so not crazy intense. Then the weather hit us tornado warnings, shelter in place orders, driving rain so bad I had no hope of seeing out my visor. Every hotel we crossed was booked up but we got lucky when we stopped at a restaurant in the middle of no where to hide from the lightning storms and they had a spare room they let us use for the night. It was nicer than camping out and getting soaked.
After that the weather started to clear so we jumped at the chance to get out of Dodge and headed west fast to avoid another incoming storm. The US border guard was being a bitch and wouldn't let us back into the states so that burned up a good chunk of the day trying to get back in so we just raced to back home rather than press our luck anymore. I think we covered about 1100 miles in total. No accidents or mech problems. Just lousy weather.
We headed for a hotel when those storms came in too. Found a super weird place in sunapee with no employees or staff that I could find. They just texted me a door code and it opened so we crashed there. Parked by an adandoned boat in a seedy parking lot but the bike was there when I woke up.
What was the border crossing issue?
Border crossing was a few things. First it was my bike was possibly stolen because the license plate reader couldn't read my plate because my top box was covering the angle the camera looked at. So I had to prove it wasn't stolen by giving him my reg, my insurance info, my inspection sticker print out and pics of my vin. Turns out he could have just manually punched in my plate and saved me all the trouble. He did the same exact thing to Lisa. He was giving her all sorts of a hard time. Kept having her get on and off the bike like it was a sport. There was a bit of fuss about us not having a booked hotel room waiting near by. I told him we were heading directly home and he didn't believe us because it was too far away and we should have a hotel booked. It was just a mess. Once another agent came everything was sorted.
Little crappy derby one. Place was a slap together mess. Guy was pissed because he was transfered there from florida.
