Been quite a while and I've been asked a time or two when the next Open House would be at Vanson. We just set a date [Nov 20-23]and are now working on the events. The focus of this Open House will be Education. Right now we have Rob Swartz from Rob's Dyno coming down to do a seminar on Bike Prep or possibly tuning - hasn't been set in stone yet. We're hoping to get a bunch of different individuals to come down and teach us all new things. If you have an idea or would like to contribute your knowledge or promote you business let me know. We will allow vending at this event and if there is any interest possibly turn it into a swap meet as well.

This is truly in it's early stages of development and your suggestions/ contributions would be appreciated.

We do definitely have some specials during the Open Houses.... and free food. Nothing is written in stone yet but it looks like any clinics we run will be free as well. Hoping to get a suspension tuner down here as well. Doubt that could be done for free though... we'll see.

Im pumped I got my VANSON custom jacket last year, I love that thing. I want to get matching pants but I hear I need to order them now for next summer. Im waaaaay too impatient for that at the moment.

Please say hello to Nicole for me! I bothered her weekly when my jacket was in the works. I will be away on business trip the 23rd, bummer, but I will come visit at some point to make up for it!

dammit, im pissed I will be gone for this. Someone ask them if they have done another production run of track pants for tall guys, because I am 6'3" and skinny and need some pants to go with the jacket!

Vanson is an awesome company that has always supported me and anyone I bring in. I recommend them to anyone that will listen. I am almost ashamed that my profile pic has me on the track in an A* suit. If Vanson had pants that would fit me at the time, I would be in a vanson suit there!!

Marked on my calender for Saturday the 22nd !!!

I try to make this event every year. This year sounds way more involved and more entertaining then previous years without the stunters.. Thats fine with me, I would rather the oppertunity to learn about setting up my bike and seeing different vendors working together to show us many bike related gear and gadgets all in the same location!

Will there be a posted schedule for different classes or will there be on going sessions?

How about meeting for dinner and drinks after somewhere? Yes I will be caging it.. Bike is off the road until spring time...

I just found out that there is going to be a pretty decent collection of use school suits from the Freddie Spenser Scoll that are going to be sold at the Open House. I snagged one myself already. They are in good condition and are a cheap way to get into a Vanson or just get a backup suit - Already tested mine. Held up quite well. Prices haven't been set yet but here are plenty of popular sizes and some bigger ones as well. I expect they are not going to last long so get there early.
