I'm going up to Laconia tomorrow, my first such day trip. Going up with my dad and his work buddies, mostly cruisers. Packed most of my tank bag up, just checking to see if I missed anything.
Oh, and it might rain.
I have in there...
*One pair sneakers (don't feel much like walking around the Wiers in my Sidis)
*Extra t-shirt
*Two pairs extra socks
*Extra draws
*One rain suit that's been packed away in a 4"x6" ziplock since I last wore it camping in 2002
*Digital camera, extra batteries
*Wallet, keys, cell
*Two bottles Powerade
Decided to leave the wife at home for this trip, since this will be a first for me in many areas, having her on the couch at home instead of on the back of my bike is just one less thing I have to worry about.
Am I missing anything?
factory tool set, emergency numbers.... key for the bike?
i did a two-day trip to NHIS this weekend to watch the races... all i brought other than the cloths on my back was a pair of sandals, some shorts, factory tool kit, money, keys, chapstick & sunglasses. it fuckin poured on my way home & I didn't have rain gear... i left at 9am Saturday & didn't get home till 8pm Sunday. ya don't really NEED much
although after my experience this weekend... you're gonna want sunblock![]()

bring a padlock and small cable so you can lock your jacket or whatever to your bike so you're not stuck walking around with it.
