Ride tonight, Berkshires backroads going up to VT and back (yeah, it's a ride in the dark). Meet at Max's Tavern (Basketball Hall of Fame) at 7:00PM for a beer or two before the ride. Pace will be obnoxious, with lots of car passing and double yellows. We're not gonna wait for anyone on this one so if you think you can't keep up leave your ass at home mmkay? If you can't afford the ticket/points, don't come. Bring a few wet napkins in your pocket/tankbag, there will be lots of bug guts to wipe off your visor. We're gonna stop for a few beers then head back home. Should be a good time!

P.S. Squids NOT welcome on the ride. Come dress for the crash, not the ride.

where was everyone? I waited for 5 minutes, chugged down the last of my sixxer, threw my hoodie over the tanktop ( getting chilly) but saw noone for those 5 minutes i waited....

Shit....I crashed on my way to the meeting point. I had a few too many Bahama Mama's before heading out... I'm OK tho, everyone knows it's easier on the body during an accident when it's all soft like a ragdoll.

For the record, the EX500 is well capable to get into triple digits with no much sweat and keep it up. Going over 100mph + on country backroads is my definition of obnoxious speeding, which I don't do anyway. I take it up to about 90mph and that's about the fastest I will go. Anything faster I'd be dead by now.

I certainly hope you saw the sarcasm in this posted ride...but maybe you're still too new on here to know that about my "canadian humor".

20 bikes, left Moto Market in Acton. Riders from NH, RI, MA (east, west, north, and south) 6 speeding tickets in VT (please don't mention names), and one downed rider.

There are a couple of threads which explain most of it. A pretty decent time, all incidents considered.

6 tickets? All at the same time? Were all of you speeding and only 6 of you got ticketed? Hope the down rider is ok...

Group got separated briefly on rt 30 in VT. The front 6 who passed a car got pulled over. The rest who pulled over for the passing police car were "spared", since the rest were a little bit down the road. Kind of a bummer.

No... I noticed the sarcasm right away. I haven't been here long but can tell that 99% of you on here seem like responsible and safe riders. That's why I look forward to riding with you all.So, I'm not a complete idiot ...though my wife could put up a pretty argument against that statement!
