Appreciate the feedback. We’ve done nebdr. Heard similar about mabdr. Might do a mix of mabdr and pavement next year.

Absolutely! My kids grew up riding mostly ATV's with us, although the boy did eventually get into dirty bikes as well. Those were some of THE BEST times.
Now, daughter #2 has her m/c license and bought a Kawi Eliminator earlier this year. The boy and his buddies rip around town on their "hopped" up scooters, but he's saving for a Gixxah. Can't wait to hit the open roads with them!

awesome shot! ...and totally agree! i've been injured and off the bike, but got to ride with them on Monday in our woods out back, so fun. hooked up with a few other hood rats out there as well. 7 kids, 3 adults. (only 1 quad, heh)
EDIT: what do you mean 'younger'? you got TONS of time. i'm almost a decade older and don't feel anywhere near done yet.

I'm just in such GARBAGE shape. Work a desk job at home, and not being able to do much physical activity for over a year killed me.
I can't ride very long at all at a fast pace and I lose the arms, can't ride standing up very long before I lose the legs!
I think both kids might be faster than me at this point.
If I'm gonna do a full Jday season next year I need to make a change.

Can’t believe I never came here when I lived here!

Got in some incredible miles this weekend. My original plan was thwarted by the rather ominous forecast for Monday, so I audibled and went for Fri - Sun. Headed out to the Lake George area (Bolton to be exact) Friday early afternoon and got home about 2:00 Sunday afternoon.
Got some miles on parts of the Adirondack Trail Scenic Byway, parts of the Olympic Trail Scenic Byway and the entirety of the High Peaks Scenic Byway twice. Our intent was to stop in to Lake Placid and do some touristy stuff: gondola up the ski jumps, visit the hockey arena, hit the bobsled facility, etc. Unbeknownst to us, they were holding the U.S. Summer Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined Championships, so the only thing we were really able to do during our short visit was watch some of the ski jumping. There was no getting near the other stuff we wanted to do, but the ski jumping was cool as shit. And somehow we managed to get VIP parking down at the base of the event.
I know someone mentioned it here before. But those roads were absolutely spectacular and the scenery was mind blowing. Picture the Kanc., but lasting a couple/few hundred miles (at least that's about how much we covered). It was just insane. This will be an annual summer trip without a doubt!
We took our time getting out there from Center Barnstead (NH) and did all we could to avoid the interstates. Took us a leisurely five - five and a half hours or so to reach our destination, but the ride was pretty damn good with little traffic. Following the erroneous forecasts for my area (big surprise), I decided to hit the road by 9:30 Sunday morning and hightail it back the quickest way possible to avoid the rain. Made it home in just under 4-1/2 hours only to NOT see any rain until I woke up Monday morning. I should've known we could've taken our time.
I accidentally hit my trip odometer somewhere along the way early, but I still ended up showing 700 or so miles for the weekend. How much exactly, I'll never know.
Pisser thing is yesterday (Monday) I drove Big Shirl up to North Conway to get her cat snipped and ended driving around the north country seeing as we had a SEVEN hour wait to pick the thing back up. Hit the Kanc and grabbed a quick breffis snack in Lincoln and did some shopping. Counted 21 cars on the Kanc from Conway to Lincoln in the morning, 23 on the way back to Conway although we ended up driving up Bear Notch Road. Did a little more farting around in the Conway area, grabbed some lunch, did a bunch of shopping and hit the ridiculous Harley boutique type store before I'd had enough and decided to sit at the vet office for an hour waiting for the damn cat. So probably a couple hundred more miles sitting on my ass to wrap up the weekend.
Wish I had more pics than just one sunrise and the ski jump. An incredible weekend for sure...

Hit the grocery store and then rode to work. It was flurrying here and I wanted to say I'd ridden in the snow![]()
Took the supermoto to Malibu to ride the snake for the first time in 6 years now that it’s been reopened.
Major buzz kill with 3 cruisers sitting at the fastest corner but still knocked out about 200 miles mostly fun stuff.
