Toughest part of the decision: which color? (For me, would be white.)

No pics, but managed to squeeze in a couple hundred miles this weekend. Just some of the usual stops/spots, etc. Weather was fuckin' beautiful!
Clocked in a couple hundred myself over the weekend. The weather to me was picture perfect. My first season back on 2 wheels after a 5 year hiatus.
Put a couple hundred on the Guzzi Saturday, west on 119 into NH, then south on 32 into MA, 32A, connected to 122 ... and so on. Nice, to say the least. First ride after doing the first service, so I got to use more throttle and more revs. It was good. Also installed a Dart "Marlin" windscreen, does on nice job on a nekkid bike

Did two days at Thompson over the weekend.
Felt great to see everyone & get back out on the SV. Gorgeous weather.
Had two one-on-one students, one each day... they did awesome.
Sylwia even got out on her track bike (EX500). Might be the last time for her on that bike, though. Think we're gonna put it up for sale & get something different.
And today, once I'm done w/ work I'm gonna jump on the CRF and go do a few laps around Hodges Village Dam.
Hodges was good yesterday. Ground was HARD and pretty dusty in places, but otherwise a great day.
Riding along the service road I felt the rear wobbling around a bit.... found a whole bunch of loose spokes
Quick little trail-side adjustment got em snug again... but damn, I'm gonna have to keep an eye on those.
Ohhhh... Solid points for the obscure old school NESR reference!!!
FINALLY got to commute on the bike today. 45 degree when I left the house, 50 by the time I hit northern Hooksett (it always instantly warms up by Mt. St. Mary's), 60 by the time I pulled into the shop. I actually stopped in Hooksett to get rid of some layers. I WAY overdressed this morning.
Can't wait for the weekend. Although, knowing the bunch I'm riding with Saturday we'll just be hitting all the bad-ass biker bars all day. ONE. BIG. RIDICULOUS. LOOP. OF. HARLEY. COSPLAYER.
MRHCP.... Multi Rider Harley CosPlay :lmao:
Not so much our crowd. But the Bentley's/Iron Tails/Willy's/Train's crowds are outrageous. It's like a cross of Harley cosplayers & Brett Michael colsplayers. Men AND women! And the women? Yeah, you'd hafta see it to get where I'm coming from...
And then we have what I call the "Crunchy Ones". Those are the ones with brand spanking new EVERYTHING from head-to-toe, inside & out. And EVERYTHING is naturally covered in Harley logos & patches, equally as new and barely used as everything else they're wearing and riding! And every move they make is accompanied by that crunching sound new leather makes...
I finally got all the boots and carb holders back into the KZ1000, all parts came from Z1 Enterprises. Bike now runs like it should, quick trip around Rindge to make sure it was ok, almost hit a big ass snapping turtle in the road. A check of the fuse block showed the end caps on one fuse was loose, (they are glass with a filament inside) so i replaced them all. Should be good to go now.
anyone in the south shore MA? i have my Grom home and want to ride
took my K-pipe out for the first time this year, been sitting since November, not on a battery tender, dim lights when I turned the key on, didn't even try the starter, kicked it over started 3rd kick, made a short loop, maybe 8-9 miles, upon return home, I plugged it in, maybe an hour, had to run an errand, started with the starter but only while I still hd it connected to the starter, at my destination, had to use the kick start again, but 1st kick and it's running. right now, my K-pipe is my only vehicle that is running and inspected, my AK needs a battery, mt Tacoma has a brand new battery today, and still won't turnover, Silverado runs great, but has an expired sticker and my mechanic is on vacation
Got dragged out on the loop again Saturday. Yeah, I fell for it. I managed to at least talk 'em into a few miles beforehand, so I did rack up a couple hundred more miles this weekend...
The 50 degrees on my thermometer talked me into riding in this morning. Beautiful ride in, weather wasn't bad...

My pre-work attitude adjustment spot...
just took the Grom out for an errand. I regret not having one since they came out in 2014
Got the 890 a little dirty finally. Looking to venture into some
Portions of the Flatlander or similar in SW NH on it this next Monday for it’s maiden adventure-ish ride and not local mud puddles.
Just because it feels light when riding it’s still a 400# pig when stuck.

Went for a 100+ mile mid-day tour today, stopped in Shirley MA to remove some layers as the temps went from 60 toward 80. Jeez, my helmet looks kinda big, likes it's a size 5XL or something, and it appears to be floating, levitating ... .

Last week I went out three or four times on the Guzzi, nice ridin' weather.
Kerry and I did the loop through Greenfield up to Cosby's place and back down 116 yesterday. A quick but classic ride. Weather was beyond perfect!
I got out for the first time in a couple weeks this morning, took the Husky to the Rutland prison camps and rode around there for a bit. Mostly just testing out the TuBliss system I installed over the weekend and my new tires, thumbs up on both.
Off-roading or street sumo?
I rode to Boston and back, for work. First time I think. 40s before 5am, and boy does Storrow suck. Surprisingly fast traffic both ways though.
Off-road but my new tires are way better on the road than the Bridgestone E50’s the bike came with, so definitely the sportiest street riding I’ve done with this bike. Even on brand new tires, so much more confident on the street, pretty good off road too.
I do want to pick up a sumo wheel set at some point…
From another area of my morning before work attitude adjustment.
Up on to a scale. Exactly 100lbs lighter than what I weighed my 1290 Super Adventure at.

It’s nothing special, mostly fast gravel unless you want to go around gates and avoid the rangers. Kinda fun though, it takes me about 15-20 min to get there, it’s my go-to if I want to see a little dirt but don’t have much time. I ride my Scrambler there too, so you know it’s nothing too crazy.
Everytime I’ve headed to Hodges the gates have been closed, bad timing I guess. I might give it a try next weekend, I think I’m going to go camping in the Berkshires on the Scrambler this weekend.
What gate? The one right here?
That's just for the quarry itself, not for the trails. The Army Corps of Engineers opened the trails about two months ago. You can go around that gate without issue.

Trail riding in Vershire VT.
Going camping in north west CT or south west MA tomorrow afternoon. I was going to take the Scrambler, but I think I’ll test out my 501 as ultralight adv. Planning to check out the trans mass trail for a scenic ride and then just explore the rest of Saturday looking for dirt. If anyone knows any decent legal trails or unmaintained roads in the area and wants to share them, please do. Or if anyone knows a more fun route in the area than the TMT. The bike is ohv registered.
