I had nothing to do and nowhere to go. Picked a beer store 40 miles away and rode there.
I took my new to me two fiddy out for a quick blast after making sure it was fit to go. No plates or anything, just fingers crossed.
Seeing it was 60 degrees today, and dry in the woods, we felt the need to take the dirty toys out. Rode around our property for a couple hours with surprisingly good trail conditions for mid February.

Took the 501 out yesterday when I had a few spare minutes. Everywhere I went had closed gates and I had limited time, so it was basically a street ride. A Couple dirt roads, but nothing much to speak of. Anyway, nice to be out and to have a little shakedown of all the mods I made over the winter.
Finally had an opportunity to test out my new Carlsbad gear on the FJ around town and man does Klim make some good gear! Just a t-shirt and a base layer under the suit and was really easy to adjust with their vents all over.
Nothing makes me smile more than a little created wheelie in full dad-bike attire setup.. especially in February

Did a much needed oil change on the CRF Saturday.
Rode around the back yard a little bit doin some slow speed practice. Guess it didn't help much cuz I pulled into my garage (still trying to practice slower speed stuff), fell over & busted my heel. Missed out on a Sunday ride at Pachaug. :mope:
Had a quick rip home for lunch on Tuesday. Will be pulling the forks and shock next week to drop at Superbike44 for some much needed attention. It’s well under sprung and the shock doesn’t seems to have much rebound dampening. Will be a welcome change!

installed my new carrier hitch this weekend, so i can take the Grom home between race weekends. :drink:
went for a short 10 mile loop, test ride for my Givi windscreen. Ride was hatless and gloveless, 45° temp. New screen puts the wind just over my head, keeps the wind off my hands too. I wouldn't want to ride the whole day without gloves or helmet at that temp, but I was comfortable on my ride, few miles were 65-70 mph, but most doing the frost heave slalom @ 45 on back roads

Had a fantastic 60+ mile day in the dirt of Pachaug State Forest on Sunday with a whole bunch of chuckle heads. Unfortunately I had starter issues (weeeeeak battery) so I skipped Mount Misery and rode over to the NETRA lot to charge the battery w a little road ride. Met up there with the guys that had continued on without me and we rode the rest of the loop together.
Had an AWESOME time! Definitely going back there again (with a fresher battery) :lmao:

Yesterday I rode the new Guzzi 160 miles, as far west as Hardwick MA. Up to 417 miles so far, one more ride and I'll do the first oil change, maybe tomorrow. Then valve check at 900 miles, then good to go.
