What is a M109R? Sorry, if it's not Yamaha, KTM or Aprilia..I don't even know it exists
I took a ride down to Westerly RI taking all backroads, then back up into south eastern Ct before heading back over to RI. Stopped home quick to warm up by the fire and went for a loop around the resivour before meeting up with 2 other riders, then to a late lunch. Kept it local.
And AF1 racing has the new 08 fuel tank on sale and in stock now for $100 off regular price. I ordered it so now I should at least be able to go 75-80 miles without gas...well for the bike anyways
Yamaha
i keed, i keed. I found out tonight cleaning the Tard the i officially need a new chain. Suggestions? Wondering about the gearing to
What gearing do you have on it now?
The OE KTM sprockets are the way to go IMO and use a Moose O-ring chain
Yamaha
14 48. Non o-ring on there now and its just clearing it. Thats with half the tire missing. When i had the o-ring chain on with the motard wheels, could hardly get the rear to spin at all. Hit the tire pretty bad

I've got 14/45 on my 525 for Motard and 14/48 for offroad. I wouldn't go any bigger than 45 for the rear, it doesn't have the power to pull a higher gear in top gear anyways. At least mine didn't, had all I could do to get the bike to 100.

I'm glad I'm a girl then...I can stay warm...and call all the winey boys sally!!
They don't take alot of juice...unless you do something dumb like a girl would and stand there plugged in while you chat with friends... and then you need to get a boost to start...(it was real cold)
I have been using Gerbings for years...you may call me girlie or a wimp. I prefer to consider myself brilliant and a 'rider' not limited by cold weather...
I actually like riding in the winter when the roads are free of salt, sand and ice. Better site lines, less traffic, and longer vistas!

Come on, don't be shy
The problem with all the cool bikes (Motards/dirtbikes) is they make just enough power to run the bike and recharge the battery. Hooking up heating gear may keep you warm for about 10 minutes until the battery is poop
Like smutty said, it's more manly to be cold
