Umm, I didn't say I wanted to ride south..I just mentioned the roads next to me. Big E is tomorrow for me, after 3:00pm.. Tonight after dinner is Six Flags and going on the big roller coasters.

Route 2 would be very nice to ride more often if it was not for all the traffic and cops infesting it. I don't enjoy going all the way up there anymore because of that. It gets worse in the fall with all the slow drivers/leaf peepers.

true, the traffic does suck. I try to get out there during the least busy hours possible. I personally have never really had a problem with cops out on rt 2. I usually get out there in the mornings and keep my cool in the populated parts. Same thing on 116...on rare occasions I've passed cops on 116 at a significant speed, but they've never done anything .

I was thinking of getting out there earlier to avoid traffic and cops....maybe like between 8 and 9? Over the summer I used to get out real early (around 6 or 7....i remember i ripped up 116 and didn't come across a single car...it was glorious) but its getting pretty cold at night and such an early ride probably wouldn't be too comfortable.



Are you around Amherst at all? I keep seeing someone around campus with a pretty nice gray ducati monster

Sorry Cougar I have plans on sun. It 3pm sat afternoon. Rode solo today. man it was cold this morning. I started riding at 9am and finished at 2. Went 150 miles had a great time and no cops. I have attached pics of the ride. enjoy.

Unfortunately I've got tons of shit due this week, and an exam on Thursday. The only day that I could probably get a decent ride in would have to be friday. I have class till 12 and would be free after that.

Friday was ok....I'm not a big fan of highway riding and busy areas like enfield. I went out for a really long ride today with some people, ended up being a bunch of guys into wheeling and not much else. We ended up around noho on rt 5, and I took them out to 116. I didn't even ride hard, but they couldn't keep up.

No shit! Nice to meet ya. I was on the TLR. Me and the guy on the R6 usually are out that way most weekends and at that Mobil by 9a-10a. If mornings are your thing & pace was OK, feel free to shoot me a message if you're ever lookin to ride.

And yeah, do try to make it out to Taconic...worth the trip.
