Nice. I've got an EXO-700; bought it in the DC area while visiting my parents. Really nice helmet for the price.

Update! We've just heard from a couple more sponsors. Metzeler is sending along some schwag for door prizes. Parts Unlimited is sending along schwag as well, including stuff from Alpinestars and Icon - including shirts, hats, and gloves!
Also, we are very pleased to annouce that Lean Angle will be at the event! They will have their Official Mobile Marketing Platform and we'll be taking registrations for those wishing to sign up for their 10/2 track event. Rider registration on the spot at our event gets a special price: $129.00! This is the last chance to sign up for the Lean Angle track event at this price!
The website looks amazing!
I saw the notice about the burnouts and stunts... how about a burnout box/pit?
To add to that, there were some vendors and sponsors that required we verify that stunts and burnouts would not be allowed before they would commit to the event.
Stunts done by professionals in a special 'closed road' type area are a lot different than just you and me riding around doing stunts and burnouts and wheelies. I agree with the no stunt/wheelie/burnout policy. But, I do not see why we can not include other kinds of riders/exhibits in the VT Sportbike Event, if they are safe. I can see why no burnout box, because of noise levels and perhaps the type of crowd that it may attract...![]()
Vix did try to contact a professional team but did not have any luck this time around. At this point with all we have going on and providing the estimated competitors show up, the two areas we have are full. If you would like to help us out with ideas and contacts for next years event that would be great. I would love to see this break out into many aspects.
We want to help build and strengthen the Sport Bike community.
Yes you are correct we want to paint the right picture and not draw the wrong crowd as your picture quite perfectly demonstrates. When we first started this event the term "Bike Rally" started circulating.. We quickly stomped out that fire, as we did not want this associated with beer swilling, hot headed, Boobie flashin, mind set that that term usually brings to mind.

Right on. You guys have done so much already for this years event that I'm not suprised that huge areas are full, and I appreciate the massive amount of the work you have put into this event. Hopefully this years event goes off without a hitch and just the vendors will want to do another large event in the spring, summer, and fall.In which case i'm sure you guys would keep it growing with more activities, exhibits, public participation events, ect... All while keeping it safe and promoting the responsible sportbike image.
We have two different Joe's coming, one with the "Brody Boys" the other with GMO.
Thank you. Vix has today off and is working all day on the event. We are thinking next time we will need a bigger venue to hold it.
We were thinkin of having a water tank and play soak the SQUID.. JK
We are lucky that everyone in the sport bike community - dealers, manufaturers, distributors, and of course our local riders - have all been really fantastic about the event.![]()
Another EXCITING update! Just received word that Joe Rocket is sponsoring the event! They will be contributing items for the raffle, I don't have all of the details yet but we will be adding to our already GREAT selection of raffle items that we have from our generous sponsors for Saturday!
Our sincerest thanks to the sponsors - dealers, manufacturers, and distributors - who have made this event possible!
I got some gear I want to put in the swap meet/clothing stuff. Its all brand new and I can't seem to sell it. Is there anyone that could bring it with them to the event and put it in for me? I won't be able to show up until about 1pm or so.
I don't mind collecting some items before the event, is it stuff you can bring to bike night? If not send me a PM so I can figure out how to get the items from you.

I don't have the things with me at work.
One of them is a JR backpack, so I'll throw the other stuff in it and bring it to bike night tomorrow.
FULL UPDATE
We are in the final countdown for the sport bike event at Circuit City! We are confirming all of our vendors and sponsors.
DEALERS AND VENDORS
RJ's Motorsports of New Hampshire will be there running the Dynojet for regular RWHP pulls and also for the Horsepower SHOOTOUT competition! They will also have merchandise on site for sale.
Cyclewise of New Haven will be there with used bikes and merchandise. They are also raffling off a bike to benefit the Humane Society, so be sure to stop by their booth!
Land Air of Essex will have the Can-Am Spyder there, plus an RC51 and LE M109R. They will also have a King Quad ATV and merchandise for sale.
Roadside Marine will also be there with lots of merchandise for sale.
Between all of the dealers with merchandise and the deals at the swap meet, if you are looking for parts and/or apparel you are not going to want to miss this event!
RAFFLE
The raffle has been generously sponsored by dealers, manufacturers, and distributors. If you have not seen the latest update on raffle prizes, you need to check out the event website: Vermont Sport Bikes
JACKETS
If you are in the market for a great riding jacket you won't want to miss the chance at the raffle prizes! Keep in mind YOU pick which grand prize you are entering for - that way you can choose the item YOU want in YOUR size.
Joe Rocket is providing their men's Twist jacket (m), Blaster 3.0 jacket (red, size 44), and three small jackets for the ladies - their Trixie jacket (black), Bianca (white), and Gold Digger (blue).
In addition, there is an Icon Merc Stage 2 jacket (green, XL) from Cyclewise and a Joe Rocket Suzuki Nitrous jacket (L) from Land Air.
HELMETS
We have a Scorpion EXO-400 helmet (Sonic blue, XL) and Scorpion EXO-700 (Chameleon Green, L) courtesy of Scorpion USA. Note that the liners in the Scorpion helmets can be purchased separately; the large shell takes large, extra large, and 2XL liners. There is also a HJC CS-12 Echo Helmet (Med) from Land Air.
LUGGAGE
Cyclewise has provided a Cortech backpack with helmet straps and Joe Rocket contributed a Rapid Transit tank bag.
OTHER GREAT STUFF!
Lean Angle has provided a track day for our Vermont Sport Bike Event! (Also keep in mind they will be there and this is the ONLY chance left to get their 10/2/08 track day for $129 - by registering at the Circuit City event!) If you can't make the Dyno at the event consider buying tickets to win a Dyno run for a motorcycle at Quintin Brothers in Williston at another time (perhaps after you've worked on your bike all winter?) We also have two Cycle Care kits from S100 cleaning products, great stuff to make your bike shine! (Enter for the S100 and get TWO chances to win, there are two kits for the raffle.) Revision eyewear has provided two pairs of their Hellfly ballistic sunglasses - again, enter and get TWO chances to win as there are two pairs available.
COMPETITIONS
You won't want to miss the great bikes expected at the Show and Shine competition, or see the bikes battle it out for the Horsepower Shootout! Trophies provided to winners of each class.
We are also reserving parking for bikes not entered in the competition (as room allows) so we can line all the bikes up for everyone to see - even for riders who may come and go. If you're worried about parking, you can try the Pet Smart lot too - park towards the back and walk up. Note: The Humane Society will be at Pet Smart that day with open adoptions and taking donations. We encourage pet lovers to visit and do what they can!
AND...MUCH MORE!
We still don't have all raffle prizes announced - final announcements will take place at the event itself.
We also have other vendors and exhibits, such as Tommy Graves with his award-winning bike SMACKDOWN! and Bradshaw Enterprises with their "H2O" vehicles (hybrids that run on part water by breaking it down into hydrogen and oxygen). Bring in a bike for sale and park it in the bike corral; bring in your used apparel and/or parts for the swap meet and maybe get some cash...
We are very grateful to the generous sponsors who have recognized our local sport bike community and look forward to seeing lots of great bikes and meeting lots of riders!

To respond to a few questions we've been getting:
1. Yes, we may be able to make arrangements to get stuff to the swap meet for you. It's best if we can either pick it up at bike night, but we may be able to make some other arrangements. Please PM me or SilverGhost to see if we can do something.
2. You do not have to be present to win the raffle. If you cannot make the event, you can have someone purchase tickets on your behalf. We also have a special deal for raffle tickets at Bike Night (Donny's) - tonight is the last Bike Night before the event!![]()
Anyone else heading to Williston on Sat. from my area? (Warren, NH) I won't beable to leave untill 12:00. I will take the direct route up since I have to leave so late, and will take back roads back home.
I've heard a number of people are coming from NH, especially the Concord area. Hopefully you can find some people to ride with!![]()
