Hey V - Nice numbers !! I've been playing with the jetting on my old SV and have definitely gone in the wrong direction. You'll love having FI and a PCIII, makes it a lot easier to dial in.
That event sounds great and a good excuse to take a long ride. I'm leaving for the Indy GP that night though, so perhaps for the next one !
The Older I Get,
The Faster I Was...
I was pretty excited when it pulled 73. I really want a PCIII but it's probably going to have to wait until next season. A few more things I want to do to spiff up the bike as it will be at the event (but can't enter the show and shine as an organizer).
Too bad you can't make it! But there are already plans for one next year, we'll get you that excuse for a long ride at some point.![]()
Oh, I should post another update...a lot is happening fast!
Cyclewise in New Haven will be there with closeout merchandise (great deals!), some other goodies plus a bike they are raffling off to benefit the Humane Society. It looks like we may have enough bikes for sale at the event that we can bring in some banks/credit unions to do on the spot financing. Keep that in mind if you're looking to buy! (We also have the "bike corral" if you have a used bike for sale, I'll check with the banks but I don't see why those wouldn't be eligible for on the spot financing, too.)
There are a number of exciting things in the works but I prefer not to announce until they are confirmed! Here is the online version of the poster. If anyone is interested in printing a few and putting them up in areas outside of Chittenden County please let me know, I can make an 8.5x11 full res version available to you.

I think having a "Racer's area" would be a great idea. Give people a chance to see what kind of gear/bikes racers use and also let them look at your race bike. Nicky Hayden and Valentino Rossi would be great to have come.
Anyone got their numbers?
Also, maybe reach out to Tony's or LAPS and see if they want to send someone up with registration packets for track days or something.
Need any help with anything?
I have Hand outs for Tony's that will be in my area.
I have a call in to my buddies Nick and Colin... Waiting to hear back but they are gonna be kinda busy in Idy on the 14th so I wouldn't hold my breath.![]()

I like the "racer/pit" area - sounds great! I've been trying to work something out for a track school/track day to be there, if anyone has connections and wants to put someone in touch with me I'd be glad to talk to them! I feel track time is exceptionally well tied in with the safety theme because my own time at the track helped me with cornering on the street in a way that just practicing on the street alone couldn't do.![]()
I hope to make it to Donny's on Tuesday, maybe we could talk a bit about this upcoming event!
My buddy Jason just took a suspension clinic and apparently understood it so fast that by the end he was helping the instructor set up people's bikes. I'll see if I can get him to come to this event and lend his newfound expertise.

Awesome, thanks!
Lots more going on even since the last update...Landair (Essex) will be there with some cool toys and closeout merchandise. Spectro is contributing stuff for the raffle, as is Frank's Motorcycle Sales (Essex) and Whitehorse Gear (NH). Green Mountain Motorcycle Road Riding will also be attending.
Lots more still in the works, too!![]()
We already have a bunch of stuff from him for the raffle!![]()

I'm really sad that I'm going to miss this, sounds like it is going to be awesome! Good job!
Thanks, Doc! It's certainly getting exciting! I am really looking foward to your racer's area, that will be awesome! We just were at Circuit City going over the layout.![]()
Will you be at bike night tomorrow? We are hoping to get people interested in the event together and discuss some details. Thanks!
Keith, sorry you won't be here! Sure you can't come out and visit and take the SV for a ride?![]()

No, sadly I won't be at bike night tonight. Or next week, or the week after. Work work, and more work. Three weeks from now I will be but by that time it will be too late.
But, keep me posted through the forum and let me know if I can do anything.
I just spoke with John at ICCE. He is intrested in attending. I gave him your number Vix.

Its a damn shame the indy gp is the same day.
Hopefully i'll be able to go to the one next season.
