VT Sportbike Event - Williston VT 9/13/08!

We have a great bike night group and are looking to expand upon that with a sport bike event on September 13th! Help make this the single largest sport bike gathering in our area. Attractions include:

Show and Shine
Enter your bike to be judged in the show and shine! Other riders and visitors will be able to see your bike on display for much of the day, hang out and discuss your mods and work with others. Trophies awarded to the winners!

Dynojet Horsepower SHOOTOUT!
There will be a Dynojet there for RWHP; get your bike on the Dyno or enter the horsepower SHOOTOUT and pit your bike against others in its class! Trophies awarded to category winners.

Swap Meet and Dealer Sales
Bring in your unused apparel and parts to sell at the swap meet; shop for great deals on used merchandise and local dealer closeouts!

Bike Corral
Have a bike for sale or looking for one? There is a bike corral for used bikes for sale.

There will also be literature and products from various manufacturers, presentations, and more! More vendors being added as the event approaches so stay updated on the event at Vermont Sport Bikes!

Yep lets keep it going and spread the word!! I know that bike night has suffered a few safety violators but the more examples are made the better it will get.
This event should be a blast!!

I'd be down for this. Am a tad currious to see what my bike makes for power too. I'd not expect to win anything with it though, I know the fueling is off...but curriousity has me wanting a dyno pull

I got just over 73 rwhp last time, have done a few things that may have helped and if I can get a PCIII before then I'd really like to know what it is to see if it's improved!

it will improve....more so if you get it a custom map built before you run it again. custom map will be about $250 though. I guess a PC III and a standard map from dynojet would be the next best, but there's no replacement for a propper tune / custom map.

I know my air/fuel is way off, rich even...but I'd still be expecting 160-170 hp. watch it make like 145 or something

eh stock ive seen the 04 kat 600 dyno charts from 66 to 74 rwhp. ive got a jet kit, V&H slip on and the ingintion advancer at the moment. im hoping to be at a solid 70+ on KatRiders.com they all say that would put it aroun 80 but i dont have any hopes that high lol

Oh and i still have one extra ticket and camping spot for sale for the motogp race if anyone is interested, and would welcome anybody who wants to ride out with me, currently i'll be heading out there solo, detouring south on the blue ridge parkway then to the dragon, then north to indy

We had discussed something along these lines, but with respect to the business that is allowing us to be there we decided not to. We are having the Dyno in the parking in the back to keep the sound levels down.
Please keep the ideas coming, we can always incorporate for next years event.

Looks like Tommy Graves will be coming to the event. He will be bringing some customers bikes to check out.

Okay, just to update some details on this event:

VREP will be there, they offer the MSF courses in the state of Vermont.

RJ's Motorsports will be there with the Dynojet plus merchandise for sale. They are a great outfit in New Hampshire. It is really exciting being at an event and hearing bikes on the Dyno all day long.

Mary from Roadside Marine will be there with tons of merchandise, including closeout stuff for GREAT DEALS!

Tommy Graves will be there with bikes he's worked on so we can get lots of ideas on work we can do to our bikes.

SWAP MEET
Don't forget this is an excellent opportunity for you to get CASH for that riding apparel that you don't wear anymore or maybe some of the stock parts you pulled off of your bike to modify it. We are expecting the swap meet to have tons of gear to peruse along side dealer closeout merchandise. It'll be a great time to get stuff at a bargain, too! If you cannot make the event but have items to sell, talk to us at Bike Night and we will see if we can make arrangements for you.

There are numerous other sponsors and vendors that are confirming in the next few days - we will keep you posted!
