Latest revision is now available online.
I like this updated version better, easier to read and reference specific rules.
I also got a lil clarification on how LRRS reads the rules. Looking at ULSB and the liquid cooled twins specifically you have:
Twin cylinder, liquid cooled, up to 550cc
Twin cylinder, liquid cooled, non-desmodromic valves, pre-1999 model year, up to 800cc
NOTE: Twin cylinder, liquid cooled up to 650cc are excluded from this class at Loudon
Now I've been reading it as you have to fit all three to be class legal, which doesn't match what the stated intentions were. What I've been told if you match one line, you're golden.
So, EX500, you match the first LC Twin line, good to go. Hawk, you match the second line, built or stock, good to go. SV650, well, you don't match either of the first two LC twin lines, and the third one takes the icing off any cake you thought you had.
Based on that I've got to re-read the rules again as I think that opens up some other bikes in different classes I hadn't considered. I think I'm also going to suggest they note how to read the rules in the book next year.
