Note there is a speed limit (30mph) listed for pit lane in addition to 1st gear only now?
It was supposed to be no passing on pit lane at all. Last year Gino came flying in and buzzed by a slower bike coming up to the stop box. It so happened that he buzzed USCRA Road Race Director Doug Donelan.
We don't have radar or anything, but bouncing off the rev limiter in 1st gear was not what we wanted. Use your best judgement as to what feels like 30MPH

you just needed to say 30 MPH then.
my understanding is the "Pits" is form the stop box to last set of cones before you can get into 2nd gear (Last pitted rider). Please let me know if otherwise and i'll adjust accordingly.

Yes, the 30 MPH is for from the stop box until the cones after the last pit.
But use some manners elsewhere on pit lane and the track. You more or less "stuffed" Doug coming up to the stop box so that you would be there first. I was right there.
While I'm here, this is from Doug.

If you didn't take advantage of the early bird special, you can still get a good deal by pre-entering before Wednesday, June 7th."

To all those who signed up for the endurance race I need some information from you. Please provide the following and send it to me directly at nhisday@comcast.net. Please do this in the next few days.
Team name
Team riders
Your bike number
The class you have entered.
The bike you will be riding
Many times your scorers have not been provided with this info and it makes doing results difficult.
Please remind your scorers that they should bring a pen, water, snacks if so desired and a cell phone with contact numbers to let them know what is going on if you have an unscheduled pit stop.
Don't forget you must have at least one scorer. I know this seems ridiculous to mention, but we did have one team a few years ago that when asked how they did, I asked who was your scorer and the response was......."scorer?"
It would also be very helpful if your scorer sees the bike and the leathers the first rider will wear to help them spot you easier when you come around the first time.

I did not scare Johnnie this time. But i did have to wake him up.
you probably already know Jimmy Baby's bike with a fresh new rebuild did not make a lap with PK stretching its legs. nothing but red frothy warm puddingback to the Delaware drawing board.
2 hours and 25 min
I ended up scoring a ride with Mike Vallante and Anthony Furia and Devin Sullivan as our scorer on Mike's EX 250. We also had a special guest appearance from Brian Foucer to do a little pit duty We ended up putting down 88 laps to the Dark Sides 96 laps. Really can't complain. I think we ended up taking second in the class and second overall. can someone confirm.
and lets just say BREWMASTER is back! were were dicing it up pretty good.POWER CHEATER!

Second overall went to Bruce Meyer's team on the 750 Monster. They were only four laps down. It was a great event. Lots of entries, perfect weather, and clean racing the entire 2:25.
The DarkSide stranglehold continues... Muahahaaa!
was that Mike Dubie crew?

I would say yes because one of the bikes out there was #74.
