I just want to say that if anyone who races or just likes motorcycles you have to add barber motorsports park to you list of places to go.. the track was unreal so nice to ride on, the vintage museum was amazing with all the old and new bikes that start and drive, The racing was great, I ended up with a 5th and 7th on my rmz-450 that def could have used some gear changes but i still hung with those guys. unfortunatly cracked the header pipe on sunday and had no results, but it was a great time. Doug Scheer #86 had a few wins and good finishes, our buddy John Lounsbury on his first weekend back in 6 years had 4 top 5s finishes, Mike martire was real fast and finished well. but from only racing loudon and going to a place like barber makes me want to go everywhere thats not loudon and experience what a true race track is like.
Did you Rock the Mark of the Alley?

Hell ya Eric. Barber *is* my favourite place on Earth. It is a mindblowing experience and the track is uber fun.
What classes did you ride and what was your gearing? 16/40 if I recall? (or 16/39).
Boston --> San Diego
i ran supermono and motard.. and the gear is 15/39 i believe
i mean 16/39
i never hit rev limiter but it woulda been nice to have another shift
My wife (yes...*wife*!) did a Track Day there when we lived in Nashville, TN. She loved the track and the facilities were top-notch.
They let me go on the "inside" of the track to take pictures. I was amazed that they had even landscaped the infield -- it was manicured down to a golf course level! :-)
And their motorcycle Museum has to be seen to be believed. Beautiful bikes in beautiful displays.
