Great Event - Super Facility

Penguin just put together a deal to run a track day on the Monday following the Vintage Celebration at Barber Motorsports park on October 10th. If you have not yet seen this facility, it is truly one of the most beautiful tracks in the country. A pure road course set through a layout of rolling hills - it is one of best designed road courses in the nation.

Bring the whole family - lots to do

The Vintage Celebration was a smash hit last season...lots to see and do (races, displays, vendors, manufacturers, and one of the best motorcycle museums in the world). The attendance last year was actually better than for the AMA Superbike Series! This is a great opportunity to come down and enjoy a great wekend of racing and then ride the track on Monday.

+1 for a Fantastic Track & Top Notch Facility. Be sure to plan an extra day just to visit the Barber Museum. http://www.ahrma.org/ has Vintage Races from October 8-9 with practice available for racers on Friday 10/7/11. Fortunately, AHRMA also hasa Modern Road Racing classes http://www.ahrma.org/Road_Racing_Modern.htm so licensed racers can get more track time. My first visit to Barber Motorsports Park was October 2009 and had a blast! Track is fun wet or dry, so come prepared and you won't be disappointed.

Kind of a bummer that LRRS has a conflicting date with CCS Race of Champions at Daytona the following weekend. IMHO, going to Barber at least once is your life to ride with Penguin, definitely belongs at the top of your "bucket list".
