Before the Bowl...

I was one of the guys who crash in t3, I was ruining 8 or 9, one of the guys in front went down an take one other rider with him, everything happen so fast, I didn't have room to go around so I run over one of the bikes........was crazy.... Riders taking 3 different lines going into 3,........ I never see anything like that at loudon....no in t3.......no when u are a novice......

Yup, Stu's one of my pit mates. He took a good tumble but was alright. His leathers twisted & gave him some nice rash on his right shoulder & arm, but they didn't tear open or anything. It was just some nice leather burn. As others have said already, he went out & raced later that day.

And for what it's worth, we talked to him about using the whole width of the track over 5. I imagine he won't be doing that again

For those that are reading this, DON'T USE THE FULL WIDTH OF THE TRACK BETWEEN 4 AND THE BOWL!!! I crest the hill smack dab in the middle and don't even come close to the right edge of the track. Even as I tip in for 6 I'm a good 10 feet away from the edge. You do NOT need to use the full width!

Yup.

After the apex of turn 4 I drift towards the left edge of the track. From there I crest turn 5 and head straight to my turn-in point for the bowl, which is about 15 feet from the right edge of the track.

So after turn 4, I don't come within 10 feet of the right edge again until I'm exiting the bowl. I'm going pretty much downthe middle of the track.

There's NO NEED to hug the right edge as you enter the bowl. In fact, there's BENEFITS to staying in the middle until the last minute (hint, you're actually going UPHILL right at the end of the braking zone )

Yup. I'm roughly mid track when I crest the hill and point right at my turn-in point. Shortest distance between two points is a straight line.

Here's an old vid of a LWSS race last year. My lines have changed slightly in some places, but not much in 4-6.

You'll see that John Tansy takes a REALLY narrow entry to the bowl. Defensive line but still works.

If you click the video above and look at some of the other videos that Chris Cucinotta posted, there's one video where on the opening lap, Chris is forced onto the rumble strip by Ryan Osterman. Just one more reason why you don't go over there... faster bikes can and will pass on either side.
