Left to do:
-Attach belly pan
-Safety wire (probably gonna need some help at the track)
-Fill radiator
-Wire car for trailer
So whats the deal with sleeping at the track Thursday nights? Certain times to be in or anything? Plan was to drive up Thursday after work, which may be kind of late.
A man of many names...Jay, Gennaro, Gerry, etc.
I've heard mine run, so that's happy progress.
Oh, I got stuff to do!!! Getting closer though...
I think my exhaust will arrive today. Need to mount that and safety wire header bolts(?). May just leave the stock exhaust on for now as I won't have time or money to get a custom map.
New banjo for front M/C is coming today or tomorrow...need to put on new front lines. Trailer is about done. Need to mount pitbull restraint and finish some details. Bike hasn't run since October, so...hoping she fires up strong.
I'm not too far off, but not where I'd like to be.
Corrected license came in the mail a couple days ago, nice to have that!

Being my own mechanic, I am obsessive when it comes to my bike. The reward is that it is always ready for battle. I take care of it and it takes care of me and I'd have it no other way.
At least 2hrs are taken after a race weekend/ trackday to go thru it, check fluids, various bolt torques and overall machine condition. Wheel bearings are checked, cleaned and greased with all wheel removals. The entire machine is then cleaned and the front debugged. All this after every race weekend/ trackday.
Basically my race season is, at least in some part, used in preparation for the next race season......that and threads like these always provide entertainment and I wanna be sure I can read all the posts of people scrambling while my battery charges.
