So the amateur bump brings with it a lot more options on which races to enter. All the classes are actually different (vs "Novice," "Starter," etc.), so it actually seems a bit overwhelming.
If you find yourself thinking "Which race do I have the best chance of winning - especially mixing it up with the experts on Saturday?" I think this tool could be pretty useful.
I've carefully studied the top racers, and this flowchart pretty much sums up what I think it's going to be like running with them and the strategies to employ.
The chart's not complete, and there may be mistakes so I included a link to be able to edit the flowchart. Never used that website before so not sure if you have to sign up or anything, but embedded the link either way...
