I keep my racebike in an unheated garage, so I need to drain the water (no antifreeze in it). I know how to drain it, just wondering if there's I should put SOMETHING in there to prevent any of that funky aluminum corrosion. You know, that chalky white residue...
Flushing antifreeze out can be a bit of a pain. But is that the only option?
This is the first time I've stored a bike that I don't run antifreeze in...
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
Yeah dude, if it's gonna be stored out there you should put at least 50/50 in it.

yup. BTW, anyone know where antifreeze can be dumped. I don't think Autozone takes antifreeze. I've got a 5 gallon drum full of the shit.

I think they have a place at NHIS in one of the recycling buildings, but that means you have to wait until next summer and lug it all the way up there...Originally posted by Rye
