Friday of the Classic Endurance Race

I'm having trouble getting friday off work. if I can't make this work I'm gonna be super pissed and I'm gonna punch my boss in the nuts. That should get me fired right? on the plus side it'll free up my friday

Hmmm...either on one is entering...or everyone is being secretive.

Anyway; RSP Racing will be fielding a team in the Lightweight Class, with Sav(508) riding as our Amateur participant. We'll be on an SV, so there will be a learning curve for him, but I'm confident he'll adapt quickly.

Oh, I'm sure there will be others, and I'm betting the LW class will be contested by a couple of the big guns out there. Start thinking fast thoughts now.

I read this advice and variations of it in the 'advice for novice' thread a number of times, as well as here. I wanted to point out for anyone actually taking it seriously, it's some of the worst riding/racing advice out there.

Most motherfucking FUN ever! New PB on a borrowed bike that I have never ridden before! But that's irrelevant!
Legit this was the most fun I have ever had! Can't thank enough rsp and eck guys! This was a blast! Intense and entertaining beyond understanding.
We should do this every weekend lol

Endurance was a blast. Word is this will be happening annually. RSP, Chuck of ECK, and Sav took third in LWSB.

I didn't ride because I didn't even think I was gonna be there on friday but my boss surprised me on tuesday by finally giving me the day off. So I still helped out the team I was gonna ride for and it was an absolute blast. we missed the start of the race and started from the garage, then got a ride through on the every first lap. Got made fun of a ton for our 1985 galvanized steel dump gas can but it worked awesome and we might have had the fastest pit stops. finished 4th in class and 5th overall only losing that last overall spot somewhere in the second half of the track on the very last lap.

Well this ended up being fun after all. Wes Perry, Bill from Slowpoke Racing, and I managed to take the overall win and first in the middleweight class.

This race was a blast and Gino was a huge asset to our program. We had an awesome pit crew!
