FYI: keep your paperwork in your tow vehicles.

coming home from GMD and the paint shop sat night (at 3am) I got pulled over with no bodywork on the bike. The state troopers looked the bike over thouroughly and ran the VIN... This is a favor to us track guys, and not a hassle (I'd hope if my bike got stolen, the cop "hassled" the right guy and found him!

Anyway, just a reminder that this goes on, is a favor to us, and if you want to make it smoother, keep a copy of the paperwork in your tow vehicle just in case. (The VIN look-up took FOREVER).

I dont think police would question any of Doc's bikes. Who would want them, honestly?

Dunno about this... Then anyone that breaks into you truck owns your bike since they now have your title... A number of states don't require anything to xfer a title other than the signed original.

that's why i'm just keeping a copy of the Bill of Sale in my car, and not the Title. pretty sure the title would say that the bike is owned by you the actual owner and not the person that's driving the car
