I think they had too much trouble with their game early on. I will miss Honda at the races and now I will miss the races as no more NA events.
The NY Times article tries to make their F1 pull-out a result of the economic crisis. It is instead a result of the team failing miserably in F1 the past few years despite spending an incredible amount of money, more than most teams. The economy was just the last tiny nudge to push them out. If they had been winning, or even an occassional podium, they would not have left.
