Someone turn on the live timing!!!
Jeff in after 2 laps. His out lap tonite after making a bunch of changess this afternoon was faster than every lap he did this morning. Hah. Bit more preloaded as the forks were bottoming too quick and he's back out.

Quick update: Most of the time today was spent trying to find a baseline for the GSXR600. Finally got the bike (quoting Jeff) "feeling like a motorcycle" in the last 15 minutes of the last practice session of the day and he dropped from 55's and 56's to the mid 53's on a smoked tire.
Got another 2 seconds at least to find tomorrow.
For reference he was running 51's in October on his Kawi-Chatterbike.

I wish I was down there but couldnt get the time off from the new job. Toyed with flying down just for the weekend to hit up the race but its not going to happen. That race under the lights is a sight to see. Good luck to all the Loudon guys, Alex thanks for keeping us posted on the happenings. maybe when they calculate things like 99% uptime that they are taking into account the off season and the days that no racing is going on
Timing is updating for me right now (live timing that is) as far as I can tell.

I went to the dirt track last night. (Froze my ass off!) The new track is to the west of the speedway,
and the general admission viewing area gave the added bonus of overlooking the west banking.
I got to watch the last half hour of practice with this view.

Elena did good.. 44.582 is a pretty darn good lap on that layout!
