Yea new motor is great. good and strong to get me into and thru atleast next season. after my highside on sat the motor was idling really high, 4-5k, and we couldnt figure out why but I raced it like that anyway and it wasnt until after my last race that it was realized that my choke lever had been bumped 'on' a bit when I highsided and that was the culprit. I def made things interesting!

You both may be correct. To clarify, my spoons.. er tires have served me very well. They are probably fine for my pace and probably more. But they are getting shagged. I asked for and was given some quality advice by a couple experts I trust. For various reasons I did not execute on that advice. I probably should have.

It was the first time I have actually felt like I was riding near the edge. Little slips and pushes all over the place (take-off DOTs that were mostly cooked at this point), rear hopping into 3, but felt totally in control. The best part is I did a second 1:26 while trying to get around someone for half a lap. I think I have a few more easy seconds before it starts getting really hard.
