Broke two personal best's this weekend for myself, for which I am amazed. I was somewhat tentative about the cold weather, but after seeing the times the amateurs and experts were posting, there was no reason I should not be able to do my times or better. Went from a previous PB of 1.26.861 to a 1.26.752 on Saturday. And on Sunday bettered that with a 1.25.792. It's amazing what some clear racetrack, and having the leader too far ahead, can do to you to push you to catch up.

Although I PR'd with a 1:25.455 on Sunday I just didn't feel comfortable out there. I hadn't been on the track since August but I think I had more fun this round. My expectations were not high therefore I told myself just to have fun and that I did. Gonna miss the anticipation every month but I feel more motivated to get after it next year.

Don't hate me, hate #911, that kid had some amazing times on his 300 - serious talent and one to watch. But sorry I can't say I hate the dutch, they have some great soccer players.

Shortest distance between two lines, my friend. I wish I had been running a go-pro for that but all I know is I went from right on your ass to being about 1/3 of the straight behind you (ok, it's not an 18 second straight, so 6 seconds is an exaggeration).

It could be that I slowed down to watch the anticipated yard sale...I'm actually pretty curious, because I didn't think I slowed down enough to lose that much time on you...especially if you lost time from the "detour"

Finally got around to looking at the data. The "shortcut" didn't seem to cost me time, but it also wasn't the lap where I achieved my PB, that was actually the following lap! I guess the trip through the grass didn't shake me up for too long.

Reviving an older thread but anyways........trying to take some positives out of this weekend. Got a few .24's during my first ever GTL and oddly enough during the final 4 laps. I was friggin tired. PR was a 1.24.60 and Theoretical best lap time would have me in the high .22's which makes me feel much better about the weekend. Now I just need to be more consistent.
