Who says you can't beat a PB in October?
"Roland Arsenault today ripped out his personal best timed lap in the Amateur Ultralight Superbike race at NHMS, part of the October 3rd round of LRRS's 2015 championship.
Arsenault piloted his #763 The Dark Side Honda RS125, definitively finishing in fifth place, with only a handful of position changes. At the end of the race, Arsenault powered through the finish line 6.331 seconds adrift of JC Bernier and a distant 10.106 seconds in front of Jeff Blake.
Arsenault ripped out a jaw-dropping overall personal best timed lap of 01:24.381. His average laptime was 01:26.657, signficantly faster than his career average at NHMS of 01:34.428."

New pb. Speed trap indicated 90mph thru the T9 gravel trap. And 70 mph down the back side of T9. Lucky to be here.. DON'T ever curb the front side of T8!

Seems a lot of guys especially AMs set PBs this weekend. Pretty cool considering the low temps.
Or maybe us AMs are just so far from the limit that the conditions aren't as relevant LOL

Ah. From your fb bits I thought it was all due to weather. Understood.
Weather was good though.
All these fast times this year makes me happy. Congrats to all you speed demons.
I didn't quite get there myself. Got close a few times but not quite. At least I am consistently in the ball park now.

Oh yeah, I forgot you had a front row seat to that little incident.
"Omitted"? I would rather say my path was "redirected" by an expert's botched attempt at passing me around 11. (The expert did come and apologize after the race so he shall remain nameless despite his dumb ass move).
So, since I was off the throttle for that whole grass portion of my "shortcut", I have a hard time believing I gained 6 seconds on you then, unless you are saying you are slower than me coasting...
I'll have to check my gps data to see if I can figure out which lap I went off-roading. One lap was slower, at 1:27 I believe, so it might have been that one.
Anyway, I agree, let's settle this on the ice!

Shortest distance between two lines, my friend. I wish I had been running a go-pro for that but all I know is I went from right on your ass to being about 1/3 of the straight behind you (ok, it's not an 18 second straight, so 6 seconds is an exaggeration).
It could be that I slowed down to watch the anticipated yard sale...I'm actually pretty curious, because I didn't think I slowed down enough to lose that much time on you...especially if you lost time from the "detour"
