Also, like Saxybaby, sliding front and rear in turn 2 was always a good time (in a i just shit my pants sort of way). At least until the time it went too far and I fell. Boohiss. Used to do it on the Hawk bunch, not as much on motard. Only got to really hammer the motard on that one weekend however (june07) and didn't get laptimes below 1:20 (). Motard really isn't even pushing that hard at that pace.

Ok, so what's Michelin and BStone got in DOTs for the following wheels:
3" x 17" front
3.5" x 17" rear
both my bank account, and myself can vouch that this statement is trueoh but that's not a slide or you would have crashed
Michelin has a really good 150 low pressure DOT that comes in a "soft" for the 150-17 rear, and also a rare but sometimes available 110-17 front, also in "soft". Check with the Motorace crew for availability. On the Bstone side, there is again, a 110 front, and they make DOT 17inch rears in 140, 150, 160 etc etc. Check with Street & Comp if you're interested in those.
You guys all take care and ride safe. Loudon is a fun track to ride on. I didn't get many laps up there because as soon as we got going the rains came, and I sold my last set of rains and didn't have any. To quote my friend "See, this is why you always keep one set on hand, ready to go, not so that you'll be prepared when it rains, but because it NEVER RAINS WHEN YOU HAVE NEW ONES READY TO GO" That's a quote from Scott McKee, the superfast FZR400 rider from Summit Point.
