Today is a Thursday Team Hammer trackday that all the AMA teams are okay to run. As this is the first time AMA has run here in 20 years.

Hacking is showing up tomorrow.

Mat has a long history of protesting races for safety reasons. He could easily wrap up the championship this weekend ... he is not backing out because of the bike.

yeah, mat annoys me a bit..... but, if he thinks it's unsafe and doesn't want to race, that's his choice. When you have a 100+ point lead, you can't really pull the "i suck on this bike so i don't want to race" card. the thing that pisses me off about him leaving yesterday, according to RRW they have been making improvments to the track all night. maybe alex can chime in and validate that? but in the end, if the track is working to improve as we speak, mat should have been a sport, hung out and if he still felt it was unsafe when it was time to go out, go home then. this track is trying to accomodate the series and wants the bikes to race, IMO mat just said, f you guys and your efforts, additionally, f this sport, i don't care about it's future.

I'm sure he has some good points, I can't (won't) refute them. I'm just thinking maybe there should be a little less of the Drama Llama at races. Politics in motorsports sucks. And on that note, this was another good read from yesterday...

Hacking appears to be done. Pridmore just rode track and said it's not as bad as folks are making out to be. Midohio as bad/worse.

they are claiming the people with dirt track experience will be the front runners, yates included.

What do you mean Mid Ohio as bad / worse?

seems as though mid O might be getting a bad rap after that string of crashes due to a fan spilling fluids onto the track from the bridge

I mean Midohio is considered one of the most unsafe tracks on the calendar by the guys that ride there.

Yates isn't a flattracker and Nor is Laverty in P5. Hayes is ahead of bboz and Hayes isn't a flattracker either. Lol.
