Dont use aluminum foil.... I did and it was a massive failure.
I think I'm gonna go with the stainless steel one. I used the moose product before and it didn't last long
My RC has Remus cans that came with stainless packing with a 'lifetime' guarantee. I'm not sure who's life (not mine and not the bike's), but the packing did last a long time. It's due for a repacking. Maybe I'll get around to that this winter. Have fun!

Just wondering if it's safe to use ss wool packing in carbon fiber
I can't say for sure, but the Remus site offers the same "lifetime, no repacking" on it's CF cans, so they probably use steel wool in them.
