Has anyone been paying enough attention to the results to know who's clinched the championships? I know Oxx's got one, and I've got one.
Anyone else?
Jonathan Vaughan took AM Ptwins.

I'm gonna stay AM for the next event, got the forks almost worked out. Need them perfect for Daytona!
I am 2nd in the points for Novice LWSB and tied for 3rd in ULSB.

was running in 3rd in AM GTL with a shot of 1st and 2nd.... as they were tied. Skipping last weekend bumped me back to 5th. blah.

Hey, I don't want to piss on anyone's parade. but there aint no damn championships until you're an expert. Think of all the people who moved up halfway through the season who would have kicked your ass this year?
Again, not trying to be a party-pooper, and I recognise your achievements, but you really cannot call yourself a champ until you can run a #1 plate.
derek
P.S If Oxx isn't an expert by now, well, he has to stop the trophy-hunting.

Don't bother doc. This has been a hotly contested issue for a long time. I can see the point in not calling it a championship. I still think we deserve some recognition, even if it's just a plaque or something. I'm still proud of what I did. It's not an expert championship I know, but it's not like we don't work for it. I'm pretty sure everyone sees it that way.
I dont see the difficultly in calling it a championship, youre just an AM champion. In baseball they have a little league champion, a college champion, a A champion, a AA champion, a AAA champion and a World Series champ, everyone knows who the highest level Champ is, why cant there be champions in levels that arent as good as the top experts?
last I knew it took 13 races to bump from Am to Ex. For those that do only 2 races per weekend (like me and plenty of others, including Oxx, who is NOT eligible for advancement)... well then, it takes 7 weekends to bump to Ex. That's almost an entire season
I completely understand WHY there's the whole "no championship till you're an expert" thing, but if you're gonna tell Am's that, go tell the Little League world series kids that their world championship is worthless cuz they're not in the Major leagues.
Better yet, go tell Major League Baseball that they've never had a true World Championship team since we don't play against the whole world
... but discussing it here won't change shit. LRRS is recognizing Am Champions this year (like I think they should) & that's that.
