Dan why isn't the rotor drilled or slotted or anything? Won't that get way too hot?

the beringer rotors are cast iron. I have them on several bikes and have never had any problems with overheating/warping, although they do get light surface rust very quickly when wet. They work really well.

I have a rotor like that on my KTM but I think it's a 310MM? Same brand, just with a KTM badge on it. The few times I took the KTM on the track back in 06, I always had brake fade going into turn 3. I was guessing it was from the heat?
And +1 on what Mike said about the rust. Mine rusts even when the humidity is high, let alone coming in from a rain race or ride

Dunno why you'd have brake fade going into 3. You really aren't on the brakes hard at all on a motard other than Turn 3 and Turn 6 kinda. T1 you don't hammer it that hard and even if you did plenty of time to cool down from T1 to T3.
Weird.
