Yep.. I is stupid...
Thankfully with all the great answers I have gotten on this forum I can now bestow a lil wisdom.
Oh and Kitt, I have been hearing about this "vertical" requirement as well.
I am bringing plates, If I don't pass tech then on they go.![]()

Make it as close as you can and you'll be fine. If they ask for 10x12 and you show up with 8.5x11 and it's clearly legible with no 'fancy cool graphic fonts' for your number no one will hassle you. Regardless if you are a 20 year expert or newbie newb.
If they put down 8.5x11 is okay however then we'd be sitting here with 99 questions about if 6x8 is okay, then how about 5x5, and pretty soon we'd need telescopes to read your number.
Use common sense. Read the rulebook, look at photos of other Loudon racers (Owens Racing Photos) on a bike similar to yours, and get as close as you can. Worst case scenario is you have to run over to Street and Comp and spent $8 on those big goofy plates and strap em on for the first weekend until you rectify it.

you probably already posted this, but... what are you taking the pengiun school/racing with? swing by turn 1 and say hi after, there are some fast, relatively friendly riders there (btw, i'm slow)![]()

Buy one of those sticker plate things they have at Street & Comp. Put it on your bike. When you get your numbers like the rest of us, go to street and comp, buy the numbers, and stick them on the plate. When you're halfway through the season with no crashes, and no cracked fairings to repair, and you feel you want to spend the extra time to paint it on, do so.
Stickers are cheaper to replace than paint.
They should call Production Twins what it really is, Shitty McBikefest. Rules for Participation: If your bike runs lower laptimes than a lawnmower, you are not eligibile for Shitty McBikefest. -Darrell
