Larry,
Crush is donating a set of their top of the line gloves... which for everyone's info, are available in motoaddiction limited colors ... Or any other size/color. If I dont have size color you want in my gearbag, he will swap out with the winner.
Great of you to put this post up kitt. I don't believe I know him but he is definitely in my thoughts and prayers. If there is anything that I can do for him. Please let me know. I'd love to help him get back on track (no pun intended). So please give me a call to discuss doing something. 774-200-6395
Best wishes to Chris. We are all pulling for you big guy.
I was watching from the deck and just saw the 2 riders sliding from behind the T4/9 hill. I had big concerns for both riders.
You know me I'm pretty good with donations when it comes to this kind of thing. Just let me know where and when.
Thanks Gino..
Best avenues are the PB pledge, or helping with the BBQ/raffle/auction deal. PM larry or I with ideas of how you can/would like to help.
Kitt,
You have my number if you need a hand with anything. I'll be donating one way or another. If you guys need a hand with rebuilding the bike just give me a ring.
Keep fighting Chris!
Best wishes to Chris, friends & family. :(
Well it looks like we will try and have some sort of auction either online or possibly at the track. People have been offering a lot of interesting things up for Chris and we'd love to turn those into $$ for him. If anyone has anything at all that they think might bring a dollar or a million, pm me or get in touch with Kitt. It doesn't have to be goods only, it can be services, contingency certificates, track days, anything of value. I'm sure we can get a few volunteers to pick things up if need be so don't be shy, it's for a great cause.
I just got home from the track last night and finally saw this topic with the updates. Glad to hear things are looking positive.
Hoping for a speedy recovery Chris!
I'll help any way I can as well.
I'll keep Chris in my thoughts and will definitely keep an eye out if you were to get an online auction set up. Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery.
in the past we have had a drunk-a-thon type of thing where we take over a bar (Usually Players Pub in I think Somersworth) and all prizes go to a free for all type raffle (buy a bunch of tickets and get into the drawing for everything).
Just a thought as it is a tried and true method...
PS: Players Pub has been it since one of the NESR folks is VERY close to the owning family and they have been very hospitable in the past.
already there!!!!!!!!
Sorry to hear. Best wishes to Chris and family.
Not exactly a drunkathon like NESR is known for, but here's another event that you can come to to donate to Chris.
My dad is a snowmobile buddy of Chris' down here in Western Mass, so I've known him pretty much my whole life. We are all praying for him down here and appreciate your updates very much. Is there anything set up to accept donations for Chris online? If so, I'd love a link so that I can put it on my Facebook, we want to help out if we can. Thank you! Please update us when you can.
At this point we need $ to help pay his bills, or you could donate anything at all for a raffle we'll be setting up in the near future. Anything at all, cases of beer (well thats for me), tools, gift certificates at bike shops, maybe a service that someone offers, anything that can be sold for Chris. If you want to send him $, Paypal me at SLOWPOKE387@ATT.NET Chris will get it, I promise, he's my bud.
UPDATE: Looks like Chris is giving it a fight. Not sure how much you all know as his family hasn't wanted to discuss much yet. But I have the OK to tell you that he is in a coma and on a ventilator to help him breathe. I believe they have turned it down to roughly 35% which is good. He has not been awake since the crash. His g/f Kate just called and said that he has been upgraded to what she was told is "hopeful", which they said means he has been stabilized enough to posssibly bring him in for surgeries on his broken bits, of which there are many. "Hopeful" also was used to describe his prognosis of waking up. I know a lot of us have been anxious to know things but his family only gives me a little at a time.
Thank you very much for the update. Keep up the good fight Chris!
Hang in there, sir.
sending some good vibes now.
heal up Chris
thank you for the update. keep em coming while you can. We are all pulling for him!
Thanks for the update, I was thinking about Chris a lot today.....
