01 GSXR 750 stalling issue

So, my friend has a 01 GSXR 750 that's mostly stock. He just picked it up recently. I think the only engine related modification he has is a D&D slip on. Since the warmer weather, he has had a stalling issue when he comes to stop lights. He claims to have had it with either pipe on the bike. The bike has ~10k on it and sat for a couple years before he got it. He's put 1000 miles or so on it. I'm thinking a power commander may help it, but wanted to see what you guys thought.

Stalls when he pulls in the clutch,or just dies when put in neutral ?

FI.....and have him kick the idle up a bit and see if it continues...

GSXR'S come out of the box with a low idle as my 06 1k did and had the same issue....at the 2nd dealer service they are supposed to kick it up and most don't do the service so.....you get a low idle and when you come from high revs to low they cut out. Common issue

Is this resolved? Def need to bump up the idle as mentioned - may need the TPS adjusted too.

Definitely a low idle, I checked it out last night (~600RPMs). Glad we know the cause now. Just haven't had time to have someone fix it yet.

fix it? twist the idle screw by the bottom of the throttle bodies while the bike is running.

and while its at full operating temp.....give the throttle a few wacks see where it stops.
