hey everyone, just curious to see if anyone in the western MA area is willing to help me out with a carb sync. I dont want to pay the 80+ bucks for a new one and/or bring it to a mechanic for a half assed job. i can pay for the services and add a case of beer of your choosing. thanks guys
...and you live so far away!![]()

I know this isn't the "proper" way to do it, but if you are cheap you can buy just two of the same vacuum gauges. You don't need to get the full 4 gauge sync tool. Sync 1+2, then 3+4, and then do 1/2 + 3/4.

You won't regret it. Mark is really easy-going and you get to learn stuff while you "help". I learned a bunch when he sorted out my CBR.
And he doesn't set a price or rate. When all is sad and done, he suggests to "make a donation". You can't beat a deal like that. And, you make a riding connection out in the the eastern part of the state.
DO IT!
After TLRMan rebuilt my motor he was like "so how much do you want to pay me?"
I was like 'YOINK, BITCH! HERE'S A DALLAH, I'M OUTTIE!"![]()

man all this talk about TLR Man, im thinking hes a myth out of legends, like unicorns, leprachauns, and eskimo's only spoken about in movies or books. does he really exist?![]()
I may have to go see him if you guys speak so highly of him
He is a great guy, Knows his stuff more than anyone else I have ever met. Gives you some great stories while he works and shows you what he is doing so you can learn from him. He is a very valuable friend to have around.
Speaking of which, I wouldnt mind getting my carbs synced and such on the yamaha Mark, Since I dont think the 954 will be up and running again this season with my luck.

You guys kill me!
Lasers? Unicorns?
Not sure about that, but just PM me, and we can have at it.
I really appreciate the props!
Just helping out when I can.
We can go over that Yamaha anytime you want TJ.
