15w to 20w fork oil........
Also completly imerse the entire damper in the oil, while submerged in oil I ran the damper through its stroke multiple times. Each stroke it would suck in some oil and spit out some air. or set up a tube and funnel and work the Air out of it.....

I have mine with 15w. it is more than enough.
I would think 20w would be way to tough.
You can have the rest of my quart of 15w fork oil if you want. Was only used for the damper.
Yea....i would start with 15w and go from there

so i drained out the very little "oil" yesterday. it looked like dark water. i submerged the drain plug in a container filled with the 15w fork oil & moved the damper up and down the piston. took maybe 15 minutes to remove the damper, drain the oil, fill with new oil, and reinstall the damper.
thanks everyone for the tips.
