That gets tighter on filter as you try to crank it off

I have one of these I can bring over along with some other tools and such I you want. I'm free tomorrow.

Eric dropped by this morning and this oil filter-removing god of a tool spun it right off on the first try.

Just in case anyone finds this at another time, 5 minutes ago I just tried using a piston ring compressor to take the oil filter off my sister's FZ6 and it worked like a charm!

First time trying this method and it ended up working great so I figured it was post-worthy.

Does anyone have a good oil filter clamp tool that works with smaller oil filters?

I got the smallest one I could find at advance auto parts, and it has to tighten all the way to get a grip on the filter. I only have so much room to add rubber stuff as a damper...

If I could keep the handle on the filter clamp straighter, it would do more twisting and less denting/pushing...

I use a oil filter cap made for a Hyundai.
