As stated in the title, I'm looking for a low mileage rear shock to swap on my sv650. I would need the lower mounting bolt and nut too.
Nope, the GSXR 600 shock is the way to go (lolololol) and I just happen to have one for sale.....under 1k on it and cheap too

I put this post up a few weeks ago. I ran a couple race weekends at Loudon with this before going to a Penske.

Pigman, depending on the year, i might be interested. The issues I've read on gsxr shocks are that they are shorter than the stock sv650 shock, making turn in more difficult but three lengths vary by year so it may not be off by much. The other issue is the reservoir is angled so i have to do some extra work for fitment, but again leaver me details and a price. I might be tempted.
Irrs398, how much do you weigh? I know that spring is pretty stiff for a rider like me (160-165 without gear). How did you like it?
It was much better than the stock shock which would bounce and not settle. I also rode on the street and made two up riding much better over stock. I didn't feel that the spring was too harsh. The nice part was it fit right into the 2nd gen SV with only having to buy a slightly linger bolt. Think I paid $100 off of e-bay with shipping. PK saw that I had the ZX shock and had a slightly used Penske for $550 so I bought that to upgrade. I am about 175 pounds.
Well those are good things to hear haha. I was thinking it would be too much for the street which is the only riding i do...for now. I'm assuming this has to be from 2006 - 2008? Any idea on how many miles it has?
Mine was in my current Race bike....and has less than 1K on it. Its from a 06-07 gsxr 600 750 and you can have that one or two for $50 seeing as I will never need them.

Not sure of the year ZX. I purchased from e-bay in 2011 and the shock is clean. I will be at the track October 5-6. You can try it in your bike and if you like it you can buy it or give it back.
