WTB: Kid's dirt bike gear and 50cc dirt bike

I'm looking for good condition used dirt bike gear for my 5 year old son, 44" tall, 19" inseam, boot size kids 11, has a pretty big head for his age (albeit, somewhat 'empty' at times) and is currently outgrowing his Oset 12.5. I'm looking for a 50cc bike as his second dirt bike to get him started in NETRA and JDAY peewee events.


I live in central NH but would pay shipping for decent gear if it seemed like it would fit. I don't mind traveling for the right bike (perhaps a fly and ride

my son has outgrown his gear, i'll check sizing and post if it looks like it could work for your son (Fox helmet/jersey/pants)

same situation here, 5y/o has outgrown his Oset, we're moving to a PW next.

Thanks! I appreciate it. I keep going back and forth between a PW and CRF/TTR. I think I'm going to get him a CRF or TTR, but I want to bring him to a dealership and sit on both to size him up, that will probably be my decision maker. Whatever I get, I'll probably have for many years since there are 2 others younger than him that will likely ride it.

same issue here on sizing PW or CRF ... we visited the dealer last wknd, the CRF is a tiny bit too tall for him. he could balance on one foot but just seeing him on it made me realize going to the PW will be better. the CRF felt pretty heavy. unfortunately, they had just sold the PW that was in stock ... the Oset will be going to his brother this season (hopefully), awesome little machines!

That's a good point about the weight of the CRF. Damn, now you have me thinking this over again. I do love the little Oset, I'd like to get him a 20.0 if I ever came across a good used one. Are you planning on doing any of the NETRA or Jday Peewee events with him? We are going to try and make a handful of them this year if he is having fun with it.
