As expected, Marc is out for this weekend but shows signs of improvement.
Bradl is in!

Figured he was out of this weekend, does he make Cota? For me I don't see how he keeps racing ! His style is to push all the time witch leads to him hitting the ground to find the limit.. Don't see that helping him. Head injuries are difficult to recover from... I wish him the best..

Phone Which!!!!!
Brining a 5 year old rear tire to a brand new circuit was beyond cruel. The more I think about it, the more that race never should have happened. High sides were more or less a thing of the past, then all of a sudden they were back. Marc paid the consequence.

I do not disagree with that...

I'm a bit disappointed with Puig. After four crashes, I don't think it's a great decision to allow your alien back out there. Did the tire suck? Yes. But c'mon, protect your already fragile rider!

What'd you expect him to do, bench him while everyone else races?
Could you imagine explaining that one to HRC?

Yeah...I was explaining the situation to some friends that don't really follow motorsports and they asked the question, "why did they even race?"
Welllll...they're racers. Its what they do.

I dunno, I sure think after 4 crashes and many, many warnings it may have been time to intervene. Blamed the tires all weekend and you know Marc has zero chill. What did they expect to happen? Which scenario is more likely after seeing Friday and Saturday?
He suddenly stops nearly highsiding every lap and wins the race/finishes in the points?
He highsides to the moon and suffers a
1) dislocated shoulder
2.) concussion w/ eye problems
3.) arm issue

Marc has his 9th championship in mind. Scored some points in Qatar and looked at Indonesia as a big points opportunity, I think he likes his chances on a relatively unknown track. Early in the season you don’t want to post a 0.
I think it’s some very fair commentary about a rider’s eligibility to ride after a crash…multiple crashes. I don’t think Dorna will be able to let this go on much longer with how concussions are perceived in sports now. Fair perception as well. I haven’t heard the words “concussion protocol” mentioned during a MotoGP broadcast, for sure. It will be a tough change for the sport, racers getting up and riding after a big crash is as ingrained in the sport as no helmets in hockey was.

I went to MMI I know what Im doing here chief
I'm very glad he didn't race. He's either a)maturing, b) was forced not to, or c) really, really fucked up.
Guess it could be all three.

We'll see. His results are representative of Honda using him to develop/test during a race weekend, from what I've read. They throw parts at him to try all weekend, not concerned with his results.
Short answer, yes. I just don't like when people look down on the Bradl, he's a beast.

I don’t know anybody who looks down on him. I had very high hopes for him when he stepped up to the big bikes. My comment is really more of a criticism of Pol. Yes, he got a 3rd in round 1, big deal. Honda can blame tires all they want, bottom line is Pol didn’t perform and has not shown anything that makes me believe he’s a contender (so far anyway). Sucks to be Honda in GP at the moment.
For the record I don’t dislike Pol (or Aleix) and would be happy to see some wins.
...annnnnnnnd Taka is out for the weekend. Positive COVID test. 2022 season is not starting off well for them.
Yep... They just went Live right now and ALL of Friday's action is cancelled for all classes.

Is he up in the booth now? I thought I heard him commentating the race last weekend and someone else was on pit lane.
