Just bought my first bike - GSXR600

Congrats on joining the madness. Motorcycling has to be a passion. If you have a fire in the belly to ride then you should also have an unquenchable thirst to learn to ride well.

Pay attention to DOC. Lots of folks bust his balls but he has a lot to teach you about riding well. And here that mostly means fast and safe...

I was redoing my resume 2 days ago and it just so happens that I wrote " Volunteered with the Big brother/Big sister program from 2002-2004 in Boston MA". I doubt anyone interviewing me will check into that but If they do, I have a buddy at the registry in Boston that could probably get a few guys from the program to vouche for me. Do you know if most companies really look into stuff like that? I'd just hate to call in a favor with my registry buddy on such a small scale...

Yeah.. Well my last car was a talon that was on the brink of 10's. Ran best of 11.05@127 and 11.07 @ 132.
New car is evo. It'll be faster.

I know a bike isn't even comparable, but I couldn't have something that I'd outgrow immediately..
No worries though. I'm very responsible. I want to get good at riding it first and foremost.

Well my ex boyfriend was a die hard dsm fan .. I was more of a side lines cheerleader .. haha .. his username was DSMRIDER (Greg Joubert) ? .. I think I wrote that twice .. I obviously have no idea to post correctly on this forum.

Yeah, I'm liking the GSXR600 a lot. I have about 170 miles on it so far of driving it on windy back roads. I feel quite comfortable with it!

I just took the mfs course and baught a cute little ninja to putt around on .. still in the process of registering it though :-/ .. the girl I baught it off of took the money I gave her for the bike to pay off the loan she had on it and is waiting for the title in the mail .. so until I can get the title I can't register it ..

And you can register the bike without the title.

I registered my Evo here in VT so I would have plates for it before I ever even saw it. Flew to Alabama, threw the plates on, and drove her home.

I'm confused?! I thought you needed title in hand when you go to the registry in order to get the plates?

Not in VT. In VT you'd just have to go back again for title application.
I'd think it would be the same in mass. You could call them up and find out.

I've had that happen, it can be a pain... luckily I knew the seller so I wasn't worried about it or anything.

If you end up with a big issue as long as you have proof of sale and physically have the bike I think you can get a new one issued...?
