Nice, forgot all about this this year. What did you think of the 370z? Every where I read they claim seeing it in person makes a big difference. Still looks a bit too weird to me.

Honestly, I really liked it. More than I thought I was going to. I liked the 350's but this one looked really hot. I wish I could have gotten inside it, but it was quarantined for some reason.

I failed to see the rationale some manufactures used in determining what the public could get near and what they couldn't. Nissan has a GT-R, locked up, but on the floor where you could get your hands all over it, but couldn't get near the 370z. Chevy had 4 Vettes on the floor, but the new Camaro was roped off. 3 of the Vettes were open (include a Z06) and a ZR1 that was locked. Dodge had 3 challengers (base, R/T and SRT-8) all open but a new ram up on the pedestal. Ford did the same thing with the 2010 Mustang.. Just didn't make sense to me.

I fully understand why Bentley, Aston Martin/Lotus were completely closed off, and why Ferrari/Maserati were limiting the amount of public near their cars at one time. But Chevy and Nissan letting you all over $75,000+ cars but not near $35,000 cars...

the ZR-1 is very hot, except for the window on the hood. cut a hole in the hood just so I can see the plastic shroud on the engine?? I don't think so...I see that just getting dirty and yellowing over time...

Love the lotus. One of my favorite cars of all times is the exige.

Cool Pics Nora. There was a good crowd on Saturday, but not SO busy that it was impossible to see or take pics of the cars. I'm jealous you got into the Lotus/Aston paddock. It was blocked off completely when I was there.

One of the coolest guys I talked to was the owner of the Chevelle:

Seemed like a really nice guy. I shot the breeze with him for a while about the chevelle and the retro theme in many new domestic performance cars. He was genuinely appreciative of people who were interested in the chevelle and the compliments he was getting on the car. I've been to a ton of car shows and cannot stand the people that have the holier than thou attitude, and that their car is the greatest thing since sliced bread.
