    Figures...

    I'm at work in Manch and Barnstead's the center of the tornado warning. Shit can't happen when I'm home, right? Nooooooo...

    I'd give my left nut to be in the middle of that storm right now. Just talked to someone up there and they said it looks like a war zone right now. Storm over 'em just keeps intensifying and getting worse & worse. Then he wussed out and didn't wanna be on his cell phone anymore...

    Just talked to another buddy of mine down the road from my house. Has 3 pine trees lying across his house and one on top of his F350. He's telling me they're not letting anybody into the Locke Lake Colony and they've got cars lined up along route 28 waiting to get home. Says the area's completely hosed and houses are ripped apart...

    And in Barstead & Alton I'm hearing people are trapped in their cars under powerlines & trees...

    They just started doing some broadcasting from our neighborhood (Locke Lake). If you watch it, when they're showing up there (Locke Lake in Banrstead), it's literally about 1/4 mile from my house. I'm told my house is fine, but I've got friends that have parts of their houses GONE now. Boats were blown clear outta the lake in some areas, powerlines are down everywhere and I'm hearing that it's nearly impossible to get to our house...

    And I thought last night's ride home from work was a challenge because of the constant downpour...

    Note to self...race take-offs + heavy rain + 1 hour commute on back roads = squirrly ride. (but good practice for being smooth on the throttle)

    Here's the latest broadcast from our lake. The damage they show on this video is just up past our house. Again, our house and boats are fine as are our direct neighbors. Others around us though......well, you can see for yourselves...

    Thanks, but we'll be all set. I won't be getting home 'til about 9:00 tonight. But I'll be up all night helping friends cut trees off their houses and gettin' downed trees outta their yards & shit. At least three of our close friends have been drastically effected by all this. Glad I've got Fridays off!
