Dude, I do some longboarding, but that was just sick! I did something like that once just for a 1/2 mile or so until I had to bail. I was in a huge drift heading for the curb on the outside and couldn't get it turned. I must have been running over 25 MPH when I jumped off. I stayed up, but my knee hurt for a year. That was the last of my big downhill attempts.

Those guys were passing the cam and stuff and riding in the oncoming lane. Bonkers.

I've gone close to that fast on my inline skates(clocked at close to 50 mph by a pacing car), only wearing shorts and a tshirt. Only safety equipment being a helmet and wrist guards.

I also have a longboard, but wouldn't even consider trying to go that fast. No control.

Funny how I do it on skates with minimal protection, even in shorts, but won't on a board.

Totally different feel. I don't mind riding my longboard. I have a Sector 9 Maccas (31") longboard. It has odd trucks. They're double cushioned and have a little different action than normal trucks.

But I wouldn't go over 15 on it.

I still can't figure out how they skid the wheels around corners. Most longboard wheels are relatively soft for a better ride.

The second vid is unreal, but I can't even relate to it. I can't understand what half those moves even are. My mind can't wrap itself around that style in any way.
