Going for the Interview in NYC

After a few weeks back and forth with my recruiter and the Brooklyn company, two phone interviews later I'm driving down in the morning for the meet and greet interview.

I really hope I nail this one, my career and wallet really need the boost.

    Pesti

Look around carefully before you say yes.

You can drive 1 hr. to get to your 2 bedroom home on a sand pile which is only 600K

Re: Going for the Interview in NYC

What a long day... left home @ 6:15 this morning and got back at 8:30 pm

I print t-shirts and this was for a production manager position. The company has been around pretty long and been in the top 50 printer listing for 10 yrs running with numerous top 10's. But with age comes complacentcy and outdated equipment. The shop needs a TON of work and restructuting to get up to date. It's work I love to do and they say they want to do, but when the time comes to actually make changes.. I fear they might bock and resist which has happened to me in the past.

I have to call them tomorrow and tell them yeah or neah.. got a lot to think about tonight.

    I heard that once

then 1st thing was supposed to be a USED do all vertical band saw.

We don't think so we really don't understand what you can't do with a hand saw.

Seriously I know Boston is expensive but look where you can get in 45 minutes and check out house prices and some of the worlds highest property tax

My sister and her husband just bought a new condo in the
Gramercy Park area of Manhattan. It's about 1100 sq ft, two
bedrooms and has a yard......only $950k + the cost of the
one parking spot in the garage......for an additional cost of
$50k. Luckily, they both make good money. Makes the cost
    of living here look reasonable.

That is retarded!! It's manhattan, they get what they deserve for living there

We'd never buy in the city or anywhere near the city for that matter. I can't stay somewhere that long, have to keep moving where the job is.

Told them I'd do it.. now lets hope the other candidates don't hold up to my ninja style interviewing.

My sister & brother inlaw bought a place just outside the city. Mamoranak or some shit? Like, $850,000 for a 2000sq. ft. house on a postage stamp lot. Just barely enough room for a coupla strips of grass. I damn near pooped myself. Okay, I did. But just a little...

If it touches cloth without leaving it's "mark" then it's ok.
But if things get messy.....you should get some help
