After 263k miles, the Lincoln finally shit the bed on me yesterday so I went up to visit Lou (Loun) at Sunnyside Acura in Nashua NH. Lou hooked me up with a sales guy there who took very good care of me.

Assuming I can get in touch with my insurance agent tomorrow and get all the paperwork taken care of, I should be driving home in this bad boy

It's actually an '05 auto with 85k miles, but the exterior looks great. The interior has a few blemishes but mostly in the cargo area. Overall it's in very good shape and has a nice lookin car fax report. 1 owner, no accidents and a ton of regular interval dealer services so it looks well cared for.

I've been keeping my eye on the market for quite some time and when Lou caught wind of what I was looking for he sent me a link a couple of weeks ago. He was then nice enough to take some additional video of it for me and set me up with a great salesman. Went up today, took it for a drive & ended up liking it a lot. They weren't able to knock much off the internet price, but at 14k out the door it was still an exceptional deal given the used market right now so I'm pretty happy especially considering that retail book value on this thing is about 17.5k.

I'm probably jinxing myself here, since financing and insurance hasn't been finalized, but I gave them a deposit and should be driving it Monday at the latest... hopefully tomorrow if I can get the vehicle on my insurance.

Edit: (to not sound dismissive of the truck)... these are nice vehicles but check for issues with the timing chain tensioners, which seem common on the VQ40 and are an expensive fix.
