Yes there is a story..typical drank way to much, feel like shit story, with some blanks in the night...

But i have been drinking way too much as of lately..so this is a motivational way for me to stop..i like extreme..plus

Day 1:

Wow, no one believes me. All that means is that I am going to try harder. It was hard tonight though. The crowd I hang out with drinks, and they kept wanting me to drink tonight. Just to be funny ya know? I think this is a good mental challenge for me and physical. Its not just because I booze so much, but also because alcoholism runs in my family and to be able to stop is a big thing. A year might be a little extreme but it also not a long time. I saved at least 8 dollars tonight though. Gonna join a gym on Wednesday, I have to come home and clean tomorrow! Stupid dishes don't clean themselves, or my room!

I drink, though not tons. I like a good Watchusett Winter Ale a bit too much to give it up.

Takes a lotta guts to start at first, but I'm sure you will enjoy the challenge a few weeks in, and really appreciate the results!

I have a lot of problems in my family too. Joining the gym is a good step. You gotta have something to fill up your time and make you feel good about trying to be healthy.

Unfortunately continuing to hang out with people who are constantly drinking makes it harder. I stopped when I moved and had to make new friends anyway. It's a hell of a lot easier when your friends support you and don't sit there drinking in front of you all night telling you that you should drink too.

One or two on occasion is just fine for me now.
